At Home
Association of the New Covenant.
The Local Branch of the Association of the Community of the New Covenant in Denver, started again its Monthly Gathering in September 2008, after a short summer break.
The annual Companion Christmas party is planned for December 14, 2008, at the home of Jon and Maureen Nash.
Parish Missions
Healing Life’s Hurts Parish Mission was given by Sr. Brigid and Sr. Jan, Sept. 17 -November 20 in Colorado, Kansas and Missouri.

Abroad
Gdynia, Poland
Sisters Angeline and Jan left Denver on July 20 for Poland arriving on the 21st in Gdynia Poland. They were warmly greeted at the Parish House where they had a bite to eat and then off to bed. They stayed until August 14, a little longer this year, since they had to cancel last summer's trip due to the death of Sister Angeline's mother, Stella, in July of 2007.
Retreat and Training.
This year's Annual Follow-Up Leadership Formation consisted of three Foundational Formation Trainings. Forty-five people participated. There was even time for a Fun Day about mid-way during the Training.
ACTS II Board of Directors Meeting.
July 24-28 the Directors met for their annual meeting to give reports of the events, fruit, and difficulties of the past year. Time was also given to prayer as well as future planning.
Commitment Ceremony and Celebration.
A total of 21 people moved from one Phase of Formation to the next during the Commitment Ceremony of August 3. Fr. Wojciech, President of the Association and Sr. Angeline, International Director conducted the ceremony. Later, a celebration filled with food, dancing, and skits, were enjoyed by all.
