At Home

Association of the New Covenant.

The Local Branch of the Association of the Community of the New Covenant in Denver, started again its Monthly Gathering in September 2010, after a short summer break.

Acts II: Conversion, Proclamation, Community.

The evangelization process developed by Sr. Angeline Bukowiecki, S.N.C., continues in its third year at St. Mark Catholic Church, Westminster, CO.

Parish Missions

Sr. Brigid and Sr. Jan flew to Florida to give 7 parish missions in the Orlando Arch-diocese. A morning and an evening session were requested by most of the parishes.

Many testified to the power and love of God present and alive during the missions:

  • One woman with cancer felt unafraid and not sad anymore.

  • A man who was devastated by his wife's recent death experienced deep peace and consolation.

  • "I've had such a problem with hope, but I got it back."

Association of the New Covenant.

The annual Companion Christmas party is planned for December 11, 2010, at the home of Jon and Maureen Nash.

Abroad

Gdynia, Poland

July 22-August 10, 2010, Sisters Angeline and Jan spent in Gdynia Poland for the annual missionary trip. During this time, there was the meeting of the National Leadership Board for the Evangelization Process and for the Association.

Time was also give to the Association Candidates and members, as well as work on the evangelization handbooks.

The commitment ceremony of 38 people who moved from one phase of formation to the next in the Association, was led by Fr. Wojciech Kozlowski, President and Sr. Angeline Bukowiecki, General President of the Association. This joyous event was held in the parish church on July 31 and was followed by a supper, skits, and dancing at a nearby restaurant.

The annual BBQ at "Kansas City" home of one of the ACTS II Coordinators, was highlighted by a special tribute to Zdzislaw Sobczyk for his years of foundational service to ACTS II and the Association as its first Director.
