Parish Missions

During the month of March, 2001, Sr. Brigid and Sr. Jan gave the Parish Mission, "Healing Life's Hurts", at the following parishes in Kansas and Colorado:

March 5, 6	St. John the Evangelist, Lawrence, KS
March 7, 8	St. Joseph's, Topeka, KS
March 12, 13	Immaculate Heart of Mary, Hays, KS
March 19, 20	St. Joseph's, Akron, CO
March 21, 22	St. John's, Yuma, CO

Testimonies to the Lord's healing love during the Missions:

• I am a Protestant but this mission has given me an immense respect for the Catholic Church. TA, 43

• This mission helped me forgive a church person. I was hurt by a priest but I forgave him during the mission. DR, 51

• It has given me hope that all is not lost and that maybe I do have a reason to live. KA, 35

• It has helped me spiritually. I went home last night and found a very dusty prayer book, woke up this morning and prayed. As small as this may seem it was very big to me ?? my prayer partner prayed to help me lose weight. My mother was having pizza tonight for dinner. I dropped by to say hi, saw the pizza, but did not eat it. It is a miracle. CL, 34

• Today when I went to the dentist, the cavity that showed on x-ray two months ago, was gone. They took two x?rays but the cavity was gone. CE, 48

A "Life in the Spirit Retreat Weekend" will be held on May 4 to 6, 2001 at the Knights of Columbus Building, 2911 W. 104th Avenue, Westminster, Colorado. All are welcome.
