In 1992, Sr. Angeline Bukowiecki and Sr. Jan Nattermann were invited to come to Poland and give the ACTS II Leadership Training. Since that time, the sisters have been going back to Poland every year and, as of 1996, have trained over 600 people in the ACTS II Process and over 300 people in the Healing Ministry Training.

The ACTS II Leadership Training has been given in the following places in Poland.

  • In 1992, it was given in the Archdiocese of Gdansk/Gydnia which is in the north by the Baltic Sea. Archbishop Goclowski celebrated the opening and closing liturgy.

There are 3 parishes in which the ACTS II Process is functioning:

  • Gdynia, St. John the Baptist's Parish;
  • Suwalki, St. Alexander Parish; and
  • Suwalki, M.B. Milosierdzia Parish.

The ACTS II Process is being done exceptionally well in the parish of St. John the Baptist in Gdynia and, therefore, is becoming a model parish for the ACTS II Process in Poland. Fr. Wojciech Kozlowski is the pastor of this parish. He works very closely with the coordinators' team in carrying out the ACTS II Process in his parish.

We are most grateful to Fr. Wojciech Kozlowski for his diligence in working closely with the community that is forming within the ACTS II Process in his parish. He is working very hard in making ACTS II known in his parish.

Fr. Wojciech went through the Acts II Leadership Training in Suwalki in 1995. Even though ACTS II has been in his parish since 1992, this was the first time that Father was able to get away to take the Training. He related to us that in going through the Training, it renewed his priesthood.

Healing Ministry Trainings have been given because we believe that in a parish where an evangelization process is functioning, teams of parishioners trained in how to pray with people for healing should exist.

In 1993, a Board of Directors was formed whose purpose is to oversee the Acts II Process in Poland and provide a forum for networking.

From 1995 to the present, annual Follow-Up Leadership Training is provided for the coordinators and small group leaders of the ACTS II Process.
