Parish Missions

During the month of March, 1999, Sr. Brigid and Sr. Jan gave the Parish Mission, "Healing Life's Hurts", at the following parishes in the Wichita, Kansas, area:

March 1, 2	St. Patrick's, Wichita, KS
March 3, 4	St. Jude, Wichita, KS
March 8, 9	St. Anthony's, Wellington, KS
March 10, 11	St. Mary's, Derby, KS
March 15, 16	All Saints, Wichita, KS

Testimonies to the Lord's healing love during the Missions:

• My faith in the Catholic Church as a new Catholic of three years, has been strengthened. SB, 43

• The mission has given me a whole new outlook on life. It has brought me closer to the Lord, knowing how to trust totally and with assurance. I have had hip pain for several years. It is now gone. LG, 52

• I am calm. I have a stronger sense of the parish being a family. This evening has made me happy. MK, 56

• For one and a half years I have had bad feet. They felt much better and I had a warm feeling go over my entire body. I forgave my daughter and her husband and felt the love of God envelop me. The closeness I felt in coming back to Jesus was the best! BA, 71

• Our family was strengthened. It was a complete joy to experience this mission with our family ?? to witness my childrens' participation in the mission. AH, 36

• The mission helped me come closer to God and forgive someone. I thought that the mission was a very fun thing. I got to pray for someone else and myself. KY, 10

Upcoming Events

A "Life in the Spirit Retreat Weekend" will be held on June 11-13, 1999 at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 2375 Arizona Ave, Denver, Colorado. All are most welcome.

Abroad

Sr. Angeline and Sr. Jan will leave again for Poland on July 29, 1999 and will return to Denver on August 23.
